Redmond-based software giant Microsoft seems to have already nailed down the launch of its Windows Phone 7 operating system, and that the first half of October is once again the lucky time frame for enthusiasts.
One year after the last major Windows Mobile release went live on the market, Microsoft should push the next generation Windows Phone 7 OS on shelve, with a targeted launch day set for October 11. According to sources, there are little chances that things would change in the near future, and the launch date is already carved in stone. Windows Phone 7's launch, it seems, as Microsoft is reportedly getting ready to have the platform released during an event in New York.
Although the company announced the new OS version officially in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, no specific release date for it was unveiled at that time. However, rumors has it will be launched in October and might prove true quite soon, especially with the new commercial being pushed into the wild by Microsoft.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed the release date of WP7 that might not be too long before it does so. Days back, the company announced that they are developing a new app that we will receive the final flavor of the company's Windows Phone Dev Tools on September 16.
