Samsung Diva Arrives In The UK

Those of you who keep ahead of the fashionable times will no doubt already know – but Samsung has just made its S7070 Diva model available in the UK.

Targeted at female phone users, the Diva looks stylish thanks to its embossed back and diamond-shaped key on the front. Internal fashionable features include a Wish List app, and a 3.2-megapixel camera which supports a “beauty mode” and a “Lomo mode” to ensure you look your finest in every picture.

There is even an “etiquette” mode onboard the Diva, for those moments when only a silenced phone will do. So you can stay safe as well as glamorous, there are security features on the mobile such as the SOS message function which lets you pre-write a message for when you need a quick exit, and fake call function to rescue you from any uncool moments.

The Diva has a 2.8 inch touch-sensitive screen which displays the friendly TouchWiz interface. And if you want to scratch beneath the surface, you’ll find social networking integration and support for SMS, MMS and email. To keep you entertained on your way to the next party, there is an FM radio and up to ten hours of talk time.

Given that this is a fashion rather than a technically-advanced mobile phone, the Diva is lightweight (94g) and sufficiently small for your handbag (101 x 54.8 x 13.4mm).

To complement its glamorous nature, Carphone Warehouse is offering a gift bag from Benefit for a limited time with each Diva handset sold; and O2 is offering the first 8000 phone users a 12-month subscription to iSUBSCRIBE with a purchased Diva.
