MeeGo Platform based Nokia N9 Announced

Finally, Nokia has declared its new Nokia N9 based on MeeGo operating system at Singapore in Nokia Communication 2011. The device has finally made official after almost a year of rumours. This phone operates on Linux-based MeeGo developed by Intel and Nokia. It is loaded with full new swipe based gestures along with new user interface. At the home screen there are three panels available you can swipe through.
Nokia N9 features a new web browser that fully supports HTML5 based on Webkit 2 technology but it is anticipated that it will not be included with Adobe Flash support. At rear end it has an outstanding 8 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus and LED flash. It can even record HD videos along with stereo sounds.
The device offers a new version of Ovi Maps with free turn-by-turn voice navigation. It is the first phone to support Dolby Headphone and built-in Dolby Digital Plus. Nokia N9 is a 3.9 inch AMOLED with a resolution of 854 x 480 enclosed within polycarbonate unibody design with a unique outward curved touchscreen display.The N9 will be available in the colours of black, pink and blue and in two versions, 16GB and 64GB.The prices and the launch date have not been revealed for the device.
