Android 2.1 update will amplify Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 experience

Sony Ericsson has always enhanced the mobile phone market and last made news when they planned to unfurl the Xperia X10 through AT&T. The official Sony Ericsson highlights during its pre-release software update for the coveted handset is near completion and is expected to be released once it is tested and approved.

The latest version will allure owners with an updated homescreen. The update also improves HD video recording capabilities and continuous auto-focus. The blog states that since this is a pre-release software users can expect few minor modifications and enhancements before the actual release. The updated software is not the final version to be rolled out.

The homescreen sports 5 panes and puts forth five rows of icons instead of four rows. Users can seamlessly record HD videos from a distance or place the device on a tripod to capture close objects.
