HTC Wildfire S: HTC Smartphone on Wild Fire With New State-of-Art Features

HTC Wildfire S is new latest entry handset to the HTC mobile phone series. The handset was announced at Mobile World Congress, 2011 in Barcelona. HTC has made the commitment to conquer the mobile market by providing distinct choices in design , power and value for its advanced smartphones. Wildfire S is the successor ot their very popular HTC Wildfire handset. It is very compact and said to be one of the smallest smartphones HTC has ever designed. The device weighs just around 100 grams and measuring dimensions with 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm. It flaunts a wide 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It comes with sensor features like accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and touch-sensitive controls. The handset runs on Google’s Android v2.4 Gingerbread operating system with HTC Sense v3.0 UI on top. With HTC Sense,users will have the benefit of an entirely new customizable home screen and a more user experience to work in simple and natural way.
The HTC Wildfire S is equipped with 5MP camera with LED flash light, auto-focus and brilliantly high resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The handset enables users to stay connected with friends and relatives through popular internet social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter as well as through messaging including text and voice. As far as its internal memory is concerned, it has 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM. Further, it can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. For entertainment, Wildfire S has inbuilt stereo FM radio with RDS option. It has also got music audio and video player that support mainly all types of formats including MP3/AAC+/WAV and MP4/H.264 respectively.
In terms of connectivity, HTC Wildfire S is a 2G/3G phone that operates at a frequency of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 900 / 2100. It offers various connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v3.0. It is backed by powerful standard battery Li-Ion 1230 mAH that has got Stand by time of up to 360 hours (2G) / Up to 570 hours (3G) and Talk time of Up to 7 hours 10 min (2G) / Up to 5 hours 50 min (3G).
