Buttons are out this season:
The Nokia N9 has unlock, camera and volume buttons on the side but no home button on the front. It enables you to swap between the three home screens by swiping into the display from the bezel that surrounds it. Well the first home screen shows a list of updates from your social networks and also the text messages and missed calls. The second screen is a grid of rounded icons which looks similar to iPhone 4 and it link to your apps. The last home screen is a grid of large thumbnails showing which apps you have currently open so that you can multi task and switch between them.
The lack of buttons on the front of Nokia N9, and the curved convex 3.9 inch glass screen do provide phone a sharp look. This phone also has notifications on the lock screen that remind us of those announced by Apple for the next version which is iOS 5. Your missed calls and messages appear on the lock screen where you can swipe them to open the Read more… »

Standard Keyboard:
The Nokia E7 is a nicely built phone. To use the keyboard you have to gently push the 4 inch screen of phone upwards. The stylish sliding mechanism is really impressive and the display snugly sits against the keyboard. The keyboard is itself average rather that spectacular. This keyboard suits those users who struggle to get grips with tiny keys. There is no predictive text or spelling correction available when using the physical keyboard.
Ignited By Symbian:
The on screen navigation system can be confusing sometimes. The Nokia E7 is slow because it takes ime for the tasks to get executed. Well the Symbian operating system has struggled to make transition from classic Nokia Phones to new role running touchscreen mobiles.
Not So Great Ovi:
If you desire to have a wonderful world of Apps then Nokia E7 isn’t the best choice. Although phone ships with some pre loaded apps but they are slow and short on features. Read more… »
