Blackberry Bold 9900 with Incredible Performance

BlackBerry Bold 9900 has introduced by RIM at the beginning of August. In design styling it pick up some designs from Bold 9000 handset. It has combination of high resolution touchscreen with QWERTY keyboard with its own operating system. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 8GB internal memory with microSD to expand memory.

Design

Its keyboard size is large with individually shaped keys.  In terms of screen technology its feature is step forward from other smarphones. It features 2.8-inch frame of 640 x 480 pixels at VGA resolutions. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a larger and heavier handset than Bold 9780 and curve 3G 9300 with measuring 66mm wide by 115mm deep by 10.5mm thick and weighing 130g.

Camera

BlackBerry Bold 9900 boasts 5 megapixels camera. Rather than still images you can also record video at 720HD. Its camera software lacks some of more advanced options such as the touch-to-focus feature of iPhone 5. So camera quality Of BlackBerry is again disappointing for BB users.

Operating System

The 9900 runs RIM’s new BlackBerry 7 operating system with some more features. Previous BlackBerry devices were not able to support 7 OS. But still it’s not complete rewrite of operating system- it will come with 8 OS. The main feature of 7 OS is that it has improved the software’s speed. BBM, Facebook messages, emails and tweets all are placed together into your inbox. You can also separate keep them separate according to your preference.

Outcome

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is RIM’s new range smartphone at the moment with latest operating system. The Bold 9900 matching its speed to iPhone 4 while web browsing, media viewing or scrolling around the phone. First time RIM has introduces a phone with large display. So it’s also an advantage to get more popularity in the market. The camera result is not good compared to rivals but the application offering still has completed it. In terms of multimedia it is not good but in other specifications it has improved a lot.
